I’m Austin Enty, founder of Austin Enty Adjusting Services LLC. I work as an independent insurance appraiser under the policy appraisal clause — the process used when the parties to a property claim agree coverage is not the fight, but they do not agree on the amount of loss.

Based in Fort Worth. I serve Dallas, Fort Worth, and North Texas.

What I do

I take appointment as appraiser for the homeowner or for the carrier. Same method either way. I inspect, scope, and work toward a supportable award. I do not handle claims as a public adjuster. I do not advocate for either side.

Background

I have worked property losses from both sides of the table — company-side and policyholder-side. That background is so the estimate is defensible, not so one side “wins.” The goal is a fair number that holds up.

Austin Enty, CPCU, AIC, CPAU

CPCU; AIC; CPAU (Insurance Appraisal and Umpire Association); Licensed Texas adjuster. Typical files: wind, hail, water, and fire on dwellings and light commercial.

How I’m paid

Flat rate only, quoted in writing before I am named. Never a percentage of the award.

Building consulting

Building consulting and Xactimate estimating are available when a scope is needed and appraisal has not been invoked. That is a separate engagement from an appraisal appointment.

Service area

Dallas–Fort Worth and North Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, The Colony, Denton, and the surrounding Metroplex. Travel outside North Texas by agreement.
